Finewise, a marketing and communication agency specialized in the segment of premium products and services, announces the launch of The Odyssey, an exclusive travel & leisure concept that combines sailing, culinary art and the discovery of local cultures, in a series of memorable experiences that will take place in Europe, wherever there are navigable waters, fine gastronomy and gorgeous places worth exploring.

The Odyssey’s first destination is Greece. The concept offers tourists a memorable exploration of Athens and the Saronic Islands, in a journey in which the catamarans will depart from the port of Athens and stop, one by one, in Hydra, Poros, Aegina. Here, those present will have the opportunity to discover the local spirit and products.

Each The Odyssey event will benefit from the involvement of an award-winning chef, who will curate elements of fine, local gastronomy. The first trip will be accompanied by Chef Bogdan Alexandrescu, known as Chef Dexter, who will coordinate the culinary part of the Greek experience. Chef Dexter is the winner of the Best Hotel Chef Romania 2023 award, a talented professional, appreciated on the local and international gastronomic scene.

Chef Dexter will delight guests with exquisite dishes and select the most interesting elements from the islands on the tour. Travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy the uniqueness of Greece, discovering authentic experiences and living memorable moments. From selecting fish straight from the fishermen in a picturesque local market, to alfresco lunches on catamarans, every moment becomes a foray into the heart of Greek culture. Dinner on the beach in Poros under the starry sky, surrounded by unforgettable landscapes, offers a special culinary experience. Travelers will enjoy celebrating the richness of the island of Aegina with special pistachio tastings and local wines, exploring the unique flavors of this region. Each day will be filled with unexpected surprises, adding more magic and depth to the journey through the culture of Greece.

The highlight of this cultural and culinary journey is a spectacular four-course dinner in a renowned Greek restaurant. Here, participants will have the privilege of experiencing the refinement and sophistication of local Mediterranean dishes, prepared from the freshest ingredients, the result of the carefully managed collaboration of Romanian cuisine with the restaurant’s resident chef. Thus, in the Greek spirit, The Odyssey becomes a meeting of two titans of gastronomy, an ode, in itself, brought to the professional and culinary journey of each taste. From the meeting of these two worlds, a unique, memorable experience will result.

The Odyssey is a project carried out in collaboration with Pikasea, the Romanian agency specialized in organizing experiences on boats of different sizes, in the seas and oceans of the world.
