Vehicle traffic was blocked on Monday evening at the exit from Dej towards Bistrita, due to a road accident.
The accident occurred at around 18.40, in rainy conditions, on Bistriței street in Dej, towards Cuzdrioara. From the first information, two cars and a train were involved in the event, and one person remained incarcerated.
The firefighters from Dej intervened on the scene with two crews, one SMURD crew.
A man was ejected from the vehicle. He was picked up by an ambulance crew for transport to the Emergency Reception Unit in Cluj-Napoca.
Queues of cars formed in the area, traffic values being high.
Traffic is expected to resume around 8 p.m.

According to the preliminary investigations carried out on the spot, the police found that a 42-year-old man from the municipality of Dej, who was driving his car from a secondary street, at the time of entering the DN17 – E58, would have collided with another car, being designed in the opposite direction of travel in a group of vehicles.
Following the event, the 42-year-old man was urgently transported to the hospital, unable to be tested with the breathalyzer.
The other two drivers were tested with the breathalyzer, the results were negative.
