A 34-year-old driver was caught by a traffic police crew traveling at 179 km/h on the A3 Bucharest – Ploiești highway, in the area of km 23. VIDEO at the end of the text.
In addition, the driver was using flashes to force another driver to clear the lane, this gesture being sanctioned by the Highway Code as aggressive driving.
Since the driver of the car appeared in the records with a driver’s license reacquired in 2023, after having previously been canceled for driving a vehicle on public roads under the influence of narcotic substances, he was tested with the Drugtest device, resulting in indications of the possible presence in the body of psychoactive substances.
On Saturday, September 28, 2024, it was issued by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine “Prof. Dr. Mina Minovici”, the toxicological analysis report, resulting in the fact that, at the time of driving, the man was under the influence of narcotic substances.
In the case, a criminal case was drawn up for driving a vehicle under the influence of psychoactive substances, the driver being fined including a misdemeanor for exceeding the legal speed limit and aggressive driving, with a fine of 1,072 lei.
At the same time, the withholding of the driver’s license was ordered, as part of the criminal file prepared.
